Methyl Eugenol
Methyl eugenol is produced by methylation of eugenol and is used both as a fragrance material and, significantly, as a highly effective lure in agricultural fruit fly monitoring and control programmes. Gem Aromatics manufactures it downstream of its own eugenol production.
